I met Mike when I first moved to San Diego almost 5 years ago - we photographed many weddings together and I quickly realized how great we worked as a team.  After he moved to Los Angeles (and then New York), we didn't chat as much, but when he reached out a few months ago wanting me to photograph his wedding, I was ecstatic.

"We're not the typical couple, me and Magda.  We just want a celebration with all of our close friends and family and a big party after.  Approach it however you want!" - I may be paraphrasing a bit, but these were the magic words.  Not only was I stoked to photograph a good friend's wedding, but I was also dealing with the mindset of ideal clients who loved art just as much as they loved each other.

Having just drove up to LA a few weeks before for an engagement session of another couple (that you can view here), I was more than happy to venture off North of San Diego and experience the awesome venue they picked out, The Fig House.
