I lived in San Diego up until I was 10 years old, and throughout the first decade of my life, my awesome parents took me to a fantastic chiropractor by the name of Kenny Sheppard.  Fast forward 16 years, I revisited Kenny for an adjustment, and as I was walking into the office, I hear him mention that I was a photographer to his secretary, Tara, who just recently got engaged and was on the market for a wedding photographer.  The rest is history!

Tara & Noah decided to have their intimate wedding with their closest family & friends at the gorgeous Ponte Winery in Temecula.  Ponte's lush vineyards, cleanly decorated getting ready room & balcony, and wine barrel decorated reception made this a really interesting venue to photograph!  

After Tara and her bridesmaids got ready, we made our way to the interior staircase where Noah was patiently waiting for their first look.  After some rad portraits and goofing around, we made our way over to the ceremony site.  Although Temecula is hot, it's quickly becoming my favorite location for venues because of the lush venues and the insanely good wine.  Check out these photos of Temecula Creek Inn for another gorgeous Temecula wedding I photographed last year!

After a quick and sweet ceremony, we photographed some more portraits and the newly wed couple made their way to the reception where they ate, laughed, cried tears of joy, and partied the night away!  I really wanted some more sunset portraits of the two, so I was thrilled when Tara agreed - we ended up getting the last 5 minutes of golden light, which made for some perfectly lit photos to end the night with.

Photographers: I used a Nikon D750 + Nikon D5 with the following lenses: 24mm, 24-70mm, 35mm, 45mm, 58mm, and 60mm.  I also used Flashpoint flashes with R2 triggers for the reception.  If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below!
