After photographing Lien & Jon's epic two day engagement session (which can be found here), I knew their wedding would be just as fun. Lien is extremely creative and thrifty, so she took the time to not only hand-make every single decoration, but she also designed her own wedding dress too! This stylish and fun DIY wedding took place at a lovely mountain center in Altadena, CA. With deer running around the grounds, a hot sun above our heads, and a wild wedding party, this wedding was a blast to attend and photograph. Check out a few images from throughout the day.

I photographed Natasha & Steve's engagement session (which can be seen here) a couple of month's ago and instantaneously fell in love with them. Natasha has an awesome style and loves photography, while Steve's from Ohio, and because I love photography & am from the Midwest as well, we naturally got along great. I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous venue, as anything and everything was photogenic at all times of day. To top it off, the couple gave me full creative freedom to do what I want, so I was practically in heaven. I absolutely loved this elegant wedding set in downtown Carlsbad at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. Kristin & Chris were naturals in front of the camera, so of course these photos came out stunning! The gorgeous outdoor reception took place at Pelican Point in Carlsbad, which was right across the street from the venue, so it gave us extra time for some awesome beach photos at sunset. Marguerite + Nick {Wedding} | Balboa Park | San Diego

All I have to say is.. this wedding was a blast! We started off at The Lafayette Hotel in San Diego where the gorgeous bride, Marguerite, was getting ready. Immeadiately after, we headed down to the Spruce Street Suspension Bridge, where Marguerite & Nick decided to have their first look. After getting some fantastic portraits, we went to Balboa Park for their beautiful ceremony. We then headed to the San Diego Women's Club for their perfectly decorated reception. All I can say is, Marguerite & Nick were so so so fun to work with. Here are a selected handful of photos from their big day.

Jenn & Ben.. What can I say about this couple!? They were frickin' awesome in front of the camera. And I'm only saying this because they haven't had professional photos taken since high school! They met five years ago at Ben's fire station and hit it off from day one. They both love the beach, but didn't want to have a cliche beach engagement session, so we decided that Elfin Forest was the best of both worlds.

I met Heather and Bob a few months ago when they were referred to me by a mutual photographer friend -- I knew they were going to be an awesome couple by our first meeting. Heather and bob are absolutely perfect for each other, and every single attendee at their lovely wedding knew it!
