All I have to say is.. this wedding was a blast! We started off at The Lafayette Hotel in San Diego where the gorgeous bride, Marguerite, was getting ready. Immeadiately after, we headed down to the Spruce Street Suspension Bridge, where Marguerite & Nick decided to have their first look. After getting some fantastic portraits, we went to Balboa Park for their beautiful ceremony. We then headed to the San Diego Women's Club for their perfectly decorated reception. All I can say is, Marguerite & Nick were so so so fun to work with. Here are a selected handful of photos from their big day.

Lien + Jon {Engagement} | San Clemente & Solana Beach

First off, let me just say that Lien & Jon were absolutely fantastic to work with. After they got used to my style and posing system, they were naturals in front of the camera. The session started off at San Clemente Beach, but we decided to drive inland and found a fantastic orange grove field. We then started at Solana Beach for round two the following weekend. Naima + Alessandro {Wedding Reception} | 5226 Elm | Houston, Texas

I was referred to Naima & Alessandro by a local photographer out of Austin, Texas, and decided that it would be an absolute blast to photograph their reception. The entire day was storming terribly, so we shot most of the photographs indoors and got a few in the courtyard of 5226 Elm. We then went to another home for an after party.

Jessica + Scott {Engagement} | Old Poway Park | San Diego

I met Jessica & Scott several months back when booking their wedding, so this was the first time I actually had the chance to learn more about their awesome lives and photograph how madly in love they are. We decided on Old Poway Park because they wanted a nice variation of lush trees and awesome railroad tracks/buildings that are scattered throughout the park. After a few minutes of warming up, I really began to see how perfectly matched these two are -- the photos speak for themselves!

Jessie + Drew {Wedding} | LDS Mormon Temple | La Jolla

Jessie & Drew chose to have their sealing (A Mormon "marriage of God") at the San Diego LDS Mormon Temple. While I waited for them, I chose to do some architectural photography of the amazing building and grounds, and after formal photos, we headed to Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla.

Jenn & Ben.. What can I say about this couple!? They were frickin' awesome in front of the camera. And I'm only saying this because they haven't had professional photos taken since high school! They met five years ago at Ben's fire station and hit it off from day one. They both love the beach, but didn't want to have a cliche beach engagement session, so we decided that Elfin Forest was the best of both worlds.

I met Heather and Bob a few months ago when they were referred to me by a mutual photographer friend -- I knew they were going to be an awesome couple by our first meeting. Heather and bob are absolutely perfect for each other, and every single attendee at their lovely wedding knew it! Their ceremony ended right as the darkness started to settle, so we had to improvise for a few fun formal photos around the awesome venue. Enjoy!

Last night, I had the pleasure to photograph a fundraiser event for an organization by the name of Miracle Babies (www.miraclebabies.org). Miracle Babies is a charitable, nationwide organization that provides education, support, and financial assistance to families with newborns in the NICU.
